Vios Terra: Character Creation and How to Join

_{A hopefully simple, step-by-step guide of how to join Vios Terra.
We understand that there's a lot of info to go through, so we're trying to make it as simple and painless as possible. C:}


Step 1:
Decide your faction! You have a choice between Quasers or Erius Knights.

Step 2:
Take a look at the uniforms for each division:


Now decide whether you want a male or female character!

Step 3:
Got it? Okay! Now take a look at the continents, and pick which one your character comes from.

_{Keep in mind that light and dark are merely thought of as existing in folklore, so it would be the equivalent of our heaven and hell. Your character can only come from the four main continents, and whichever country you pick will decide your character's base element. It's suggested you pick the element before the country, but you may also pick based on your interest in the country and its people too.}

Step 4:
Now that that's all done, let's take a look at the character sheet:

Here's a quick checklist of what to look out for when you first open the template:

<sub>- Make sure you hide the 'Quaser' folder if you're in Erius Knights.
- Pay attention to the applicant requirements for both factions! Scroll back up to step one and double check. Each faction's rules are in their respective journals.
- Be sure to pick the proper country emblem down at the left hand side.
- Replace the silhouette with your character
- Go through all the information carefully, make sure there's no typos!
- Height should preferably be in feet and inches
- Vessel for Quasers would be where your airship/hoverboard/etc. goes. For Erius Knights, that box will be where your dragon goes. You may add a name.
- Keep in mind that new acceptances will not have their vessels yet. These are gained either through RP event participation or shop bought, so this will need to be edited later.</sub>


And that should be all for the character sheet, so please save it as .png and upload.
All that's left is filling in your written info.


Step 5:
This is an optional step, but feel free to take a look at the standard dragons:

These are the standard dragons that are given to new recruits. Hybrid [With more than two elements, but lowered power, defense, and speed.] are possible, but they are not acquired by standard means and getting your hands on one may very well cost your life. There are also other types of dragons that can be acquired in the future, and those may be designed by their riders if one is ever acquired.

Once you have attained a dragon, either as a baby or an adolescent, you may edit your character sheet and put in their design in the 'vessel' box. Small modifications to personalize your dragons are allowed.


As for the airships:



Quasers have a comprehensive database of technology at their disposal. Although with less magic and natural elements, the more advanced ships are on par with the strength of dragons, and the smaller suits make them an even match to the Erius Knights.

Small modifications are allowed for these ships, and as with the dragons, they should go in the 'vessel' box when acquired.


Step 6:
It seems all our info and stuff is ready, so let's send it in.
